Keterlibatan Orang Tua dalam Program PAUD Di TK IT Insan Kamil Nanga Pinoh

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bentuk keterlibatan orang
tua dalam program PAUD di TK IT Insan Kamil Nanga Pinoh. Keterlibatan orang tua dengan
sekolah merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam pendidikan anak usia dini. Penelitian
menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah 10 wali murid dan 2
guru. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dianalisis
menggunakan analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1)
bentuk keterlibatan orang tua berupa parenting, komunikasi, belajar di rumah, pengambilan
keputusan, dan berkolaborasi dengan masyarakat; 2) Terdapat berbagai faktor yang
mempengaruhi tingkat keterlibatan orang tua dalam program PAUD; 3) Manfaat dari adanya
keterlibatan yaitu orang tua mempromosikan sekolah, mendapatkan informasi mengenai
capaian perkembangan anak, motivasi dan prestasi belajar anak meningkat; 4) Upaya sekolah
untuk melibatkan orang tua yaitu melakukan komunikasi terbuka dan sesering mungkin,
membangun lingkungan yang ramah, melibatkan orang tua dalam pengambilan keputusan,
mengemukakan aspirasi, dan memilih waktu yang tepat.
