DESKRIPSI KEMAMPUAN MATEMATIS SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL KUBUS DAN BALOK
Abstract
Abstract: This study aims to describe the mathematical representation ability of class VIII students of Sinar Kasih Nanga Pinoh on material of cubes and block. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that uses qualitative methods to collect tes data. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII SMP Sinar Kasih amounting to 33 students. The object of this research is the students’ mathematical representation ability. The instrument used is a test in the form of an essay. Based on the results of the study showed that students’ mathematical representation abilities in solving problems involving mathematical expressions, writing down ways to solve mathematical problems with words given to class VIII students of SMP Sinar Kasih were in the low category.
