PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN DADU TERHADAP AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPAS KELAS V DI SD NEGERI 20 MABAH

Abstract: This study investigates the effect of dice-based learning media on fifth-grade students' learning activities during IPAS (Integrated Natural and Social Sciences) lessons at SD Negeri 20 Mabah. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach, the research involved 13 students as the complete sample. Data were collected via observation sheets and questionnaires on student learning activities, then analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and paired sample t-test. Results revealed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference in mean learning activity scores before (56.46) and after (77.69) the intervention, with a strong correlation of 0.918. Thus, dice learning media significantly enhances student engagement in IPAS instruction.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran dadu terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas V di SD Negeri 20 Mabah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 13 siswa yang dijadikan sampel keseluruhan. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi dan angket aktivitas belajar siswa. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji-t berpasangan (paired sample t-test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran dadu. Nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 56,46 menjadi 77,69 dengan korelasi 0,918 yang menunjukkan hubungan sangat kuat. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran dadu berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS.
