Abstract

Abstract: Environmental conservation activities need to be carried out in the community, especially related to environmentally friendly food packaging. One of the problems that often arises is related to the lack of socialization related to environmentally friendly food packaging. The purpose of this community service activity is to empower the knowledge of Vocational High School (SMK) students in Jakarta related to environmentally friendly food packaging. The method used in this activity is a seminar conducted for students of SMKN 1 Jakarta. The results of this community service activity are that there is an increase in the knowledge score of SMKN 1 Jakarta students between before and after the activity. The conclusion of this activity is that with the seminar there is an increase in the knowledge of SMK students related to environmentally friendly food packaging.

Abstrak: Kegiatan pelestarian lingkungan perlu untuk dilakukan di masyarakat, khususnya terkait dengan kemasan makanan ramah lingkungan. Salah satu masalah yang seringkali muncul adalah berkaitan dengan kurangnya sosialisasi terkait dengan kemasan makanan ramah lingkungan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberdayakan pengetahuan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Jakarta terkait dengan kemasan makanan ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan seminar yang dilakukan kepada siswa SMKN 1 Jakarta. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah bahwa terdapat kenaikan skor pengetahuan siswa SMKN 1 Jakarta antara sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa dengan seminar terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan siswa SMK terkait dengan kemasan makanan ramah lingkungan.
