Abstrak
Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih adanya persepsi keliru di kalangan pelajar yang memandang tawuran sebagai bentuk solidaritas dan keberanian, padahal secara hukum merupakan perilaku kriminal anak dengan konsekuensi pidana serius. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMAS Mulia Medan dengan melibatkan 30 siswa, melalui pendekatan participatory legal education dengan metode penyuluhan interaktif, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test berupa 5 pertanyaan singkat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman hukum siswa sebesar 27%, disertai perubahan sikap yang signifikan terhadap penolakan tawuran serta meningkatnya kemampuan mengidentifikasi solusi konflik secara damai. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa edukasi hukum yang terstruktur dan partisipatif efektif pada aspek peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai konsekuensi pidana tawuran, perubahan persepsi terhadap tawuran yang semula dipandang sebagai solidaritas, dan penyelesaian konflik secara damai dilingkungan sekolah.

Abstract:
This community service activity was initiated due to the persistent misconception among students who perceive school brawls as symbols of solidarity and bravery, whereas legally they constitute juvenile criminal behavior with serious legal consequences. The program was conducted at SMAS Mulia Medan involving 30 students, using a participatory legal education approach through interactive legal counseling, group discussions, case studies, and evaluation employing pre-test and post-test instruments in the form of 5 short questions. The results demonstrated a 27% increase in students’ legal understanding, accompanied by significant attitudinal changes reflecting rejection of violent behavior and improved ability to identify peaceful conflict resolution strategies. This activity provesthat structured and participatory legal education is effective in enhancing students understanding of the criminal consequences of brawls, changing perceptions of brawls that were initially seen as solidarity, and peacefully resolving conflicts within the school environment.
