Analisis Tingkat Kecanduan Bermain Game Online Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IV SDN 01 Nanga Pinoh

Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the increasing addiction to online games among students and its impact on learning outcomes. The research aimed to describe the influence of online gaming on fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 01 Nanga Pinoh. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method, with the main subjects being fourth-grade students and supporting subjects being classroom teachers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the level of online game addiction among students was still within a reasonable range and could be managed through teacher guidance. However, some students experienced a decline in learning outcomes and reduced interest in studying due to excessive gaming. Teachers played an active role by providing advice and education to encourage responsible gaming behavior. In conclusion, online gaming has an influence on the learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya kecanduan bermain game online di kalangan siswa dan pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh game online terhadap siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 01 Nanga Pinoh. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek utama siswa kelas IV dan subjek pendukung guru kelas. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kecanduan bermain game online siswa masih tergolong wajar dan dapat dikendalikan melalui bimbingan guru. Namun, beberapa siswa mengalami penurunan hasil belajar serta berkurangnya minat belajar akibat terlalu sering bermain game. Guru berperan aktif dengan memberikan nasihat dan edukasi agar siswa dapat menggunakan game secara bijak. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan game online memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar.
