PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PILOT DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH DAN KERJA SAMA PESERTA DIDIK

Abstrak: Kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kerja sama adalah keterampilan krusial yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam proses belajar matematika di tingkat sekolah dasar. Namun, observasi awal mengindikasikan bahwa kedua keterampilan tersebut pada siswa kelas V di SDN Teluk Tiram 2 belum berkembang dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan aktivitas guru serta menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan peserta didik dalam memecahkan masalah dan kerja sama melalui penerapan model pembelajaran PILOT (Problem Based Learning, Project Based Learning, dan Teams Games Tournament). Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam empat pertemuan dengan melibatkan 24 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan tes, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitianini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik meningkat dari 38% pada pertemuan pertama menjadi 92% pada pertemuan keempat, sedangkan keterampilan kerja sama meningkat dari 46% menjadi 96%. Peningkatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran PILOT efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan kerja sama siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar.

Abstract : Problem-solving and collaboration are crucial skills that need to be enhanced during mathematics learning at the elementary school level. However, preliminary observations indicated that these skills were not well-developed among fifth-grade students at SDN Teluk Tiram 2. This study aimed to describe teacher activities and analyze improvements in students' problem-solving and collaboration skills through the implementation of the PILOT learning model (Problem-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, and Teams-Games-Tournament). This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) project conducted over four sessions involving 24 students. Data were collected through observation and tests, then analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. The results showed that students' problem-solving skills improved from 38% in the first session to 92% in the fourth session, while collaboration skills increased from 46% to 96%. These improvements demonstrate that the PILOT learning model is effective in enhancing students' problem-solving and collaboration skills in elementary mathematics learning
