Manuscript Types

Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar (JPD) welcomes original scholarly manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge, educational research, and teaching practices in elementary education.

Manuscripts must align with the journal's focus and scope and comply with its author guidelines and publication ethics.

1. Original Research Articles

Original research articles present findings from empirical studies employing quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches.

These manuscripts should provide a clear research problem, theoretical foundation, methodology, findings, discussion, and conclusions that contribute to elementary education.

2. Literature Review Articles

Literature review articles critically examine, evaluate, and synthesize existing scholarly literature related to elementary education.

These manuscripts should demonstrate a systematic and academically rigorous approach to reviewing relevant studies, identifying research gaps, and presenting meaningful conclusions or recommendations.

3. Conceptual and Theoretical Articles

Conceptual and theoretical articles present original scholarly arguments, theoretical analyses, or the development and application of educational concepts.

These manuscripts should demonstrate academic rigor, conceptual clarity, and relevance to elementary education research and practice.

General Submission Requirements

All submitted manuscripts must:

  1. Be original and not previously published.

  2. Fall within the journal's focus and scope.

  3. Demonstrate scientific relevance and a meaningful contribution to elementary education.

  4. Follow the journal's manuscript template and author guidelines.

  5. Include accurate, relevant, and verifiable references.

  6. Comply with research ethics, publication ethics, and the journal's AI Usage Policy.

  7. Not be under consideration for publication in another journal.

All manuscript submissions are subject to initial editorial screening and the journal's peer-review process.

The editorial board reserves the right to determine whether a submitted manuscript is appropriate for publication in Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar (JPD).
