Correction and Retraction Policy
Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar (JPD) is committed to preserving the accuracy, integrity, transparency, and reliability of the scholarly record.
The journal recognizes that errors or ethical concerns may be identified after publication and is committed to addressing such issues through appropriate editorial procedures.

Such errors may include:
-
Typographical or formatting errors affecting interpretation.

-
Serious methodological or analytical errors invalidating the conclusions.
-
Unethical research practices.
-

3. Retraction Procedures
When concerns are raised regarding a published article, the editorial board will review the available evidence and may request clarification from the authors or relevant institutions.
Authors will be given an opportunity to respond to the concerns before a final decision is made, where appropriate.
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for making the final editorial decision based on the available evidence and applicable publication ethics principles.
4. Retraction Notices
When an article is retracted, the journal will publish a retraction notice clearly identifying:
-
The title of the affected article.
-
The authors and publication details.
-
The reasons for retraction.
-
The party responsible for initiating the retraction, where appropriate.
Retracted articles should remain accessible as part of the scholarly record, clearly marked as retracted, unless removal is required for legal, privacy, or other exceptional reasons.
5. Expressions of Concern
An expression of concern may be issued when credible questions arise regarding the reliability or integrity of a published article, but the available evidence is insufficient to reach a definitive conclusion.
Such notices may be updated following further investigation.
6. Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for promptly notifying the editorial office if they discover significant errors, inaccuracies, or ethical concerns in their published work.
Authors are expected to cooperate fully with editorial investigations and corrective procedures.
7. Publication Ethics
Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar (JPD) aims to handle corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern in accordance with internationally recognized publication ethics principles, including relevant guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
