Authorship Criteria

Authorship Criteria

Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar (JPD) is committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and integrity in scholarly authorship. All individuals listed as authors must have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research and manuscript preparation.

Criteria for Authorship

An individual must meet all of the following criteria to qualify as an author:

  1. Make substantial contributions to the conception or design of the study, data collection, analysis, or interpretation of research findings.

  2. Participate in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.

  3. Review and approve the final version of the manuscript before submission and publication.

  4. Agree to be accountable for the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the published work.

Responsibilities of Authors

All authors are responsible for ensuring that their contributions comply with ethical research and publication standards.

The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the editorial office, ensuring that all eligible contributors are appropriately acknowledged, and obtaining approval from all co-authors before submission.

Authorship Order and Changes

The order of authors must be determined through mutual agreement among contributors before manuscript submission.

Any addition, removal, or rearrangement of authors after submission must be accompanied by a written explanation and the consent of all affected authors, subject to editorial approval.

Acknowledgment of Contributors

Individuals who provide technical assistance, administrative support, language editing, funding acquisition, or other contributions that do not fulfill the authorship criteria should be acknowledged rather than listed as authors.

Artificial Intelligence and Authorship

Artificial intelligence (AI) tools cannot be recognized as authors or co-authors. Any substantive use of AI must comply with the journal's AI Usage Policy.

Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar (JPD) reserves the right to investigate authorship disputes and suspected violations of publication ethics.
