HASIL BELAJAR MAHASISWA CALON GURU SEKOLAH DASAR MENGGUNAKAN GUIDED DISCOVERY LEARNING BERBASIS LABORATORIUM VIRTUAL

Abstract


Abstract: Student learning outcomes in the higher education curriculum describe a student's ability. This study describes the application of the guided discovery learning model with PhET Simulation media which aims to improve students learning outcomes for pre-service teachers. This research is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument was essay test. Data analysis used a gain score (n-gain). The results of the data analysis showed that there was an increase in student scores based on differences in pretest and posttest scores. The average value of n-gain is in the medium category, which is 0,49. The results indicate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes after attending lectures with the guided discovery learning model assisted by PhET Simulation.

Abstrak: Hasil belajar mahasiswa yang termuat dalaam capaian pembelajaran kurikulum pendidikan tinggi menggambarkan kemampuan seorang mahasiswa. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran guided discovery learning dengan media PhET Simulation yang bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa calon guru Sekolah Dasar (SD). Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one-group pretest-posttest design. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes berbentuk esai. Analisis data menggunakan gain score (n-gain). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan nilai mahasiswa berdasarkan perbedaan nilai pretest dan posttest. Nilai rata-rata n-gain berada pada kategori sedang yaitu 0,49. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan ada peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa setelah mengikuti perkuliahan dengan model pembelajaran guided discovery learning berbantuan PhET Simulation.
